In the September 2022 EFMD Global Focus, in an article-tribute to the late Professor Dianne Bevelander, also founder of the Erasmus Centre for Women and Organisations (ECWO) at Rotterdam School of Management, EQUAL4EUROPE is referenced and our work in developing Gender Equality Plans for academic institutions. The authors, Michael Page (Bentley University) who has delivered one of the trainings in the framework of the project, Diane Coetzer (ECWO) and Madeleine Van Der Steege (Webster University), emphasise the importance of such aspirational role models whose stories can be found in the book Women Courageous: Leading Through the Labyrinth. “A collection of true experiences by women from different parts of the world, leading in the political, academic, non-profit public, and private sectors”.
